Default Chips & programmers

Ok, so I just bought a 2000 ranger, 4.0 4x4. Whats the best route to gte some better performance? Is there a preference out there? Any auto transmission shift kits or is that worked into the ship?? any input would be awesome.

Probably the best known chip manufacturer is hypertech they make chips for almost any car on the road. Check them out at hypertech.com

i tryed looking up ranger chips in the site hypertech.com. and thier isent a ranger option under ford.
