My pappaws 2.3L Ranger has around 275k miles on it. Burns a little oil, but still runs amazingly well. My pappaw drove his truck the other day, and found it is making a weird noise. Whenever you crank it up and even while driving, it is making a noise in the engine compartment on the drivers side. Sounds like it maybe near the wheel. Cannot tell for sure. It sounds like a piece of metal loose and rubbing a little. I thought maybe a loose pulley but could not see any that looked look or was close enough to the area. Any ideals?
