I know of the dome light stays on and the door ajar light on dash is lighted.

most possible cause is the door switch is sticking, to solve that issue spray wd-40 in the door latch mechanism and close the door harda few times should take care of it.

Hooligan

A common one with 01+ 4.0 SOHC engines is the 90 degree intake tube on tope of the engine causing the check engine light to show intake leak. Some mechanics say the whole intake gaskets needs replacing when in fact its just that little rubber tube that cracks
