Default Missions for you members

I have a mission for you guys if you are willing to accept. We are looking for general maintenance "How To" write ups. I would like to have oil change how to's, brakes, plugs, wires....anything you do to your trucks! If you do some work and could snap some pics and do a basic write up it would be greatly appreciated!

We can add oil changes from each different engine size, same goes for plugs, & wires. Also brakes on different model rangers and anything else you may do to your truck whether it be general maintenance or upgrades.

Our goal here is to teach members how to perform this work on their own trucks without having to go to a shop. This way they can save money and get to know their trucks as well.

I have 1 stipulation, when doing these writeups, please perform them yourselves. We can not allow copied write ups from other forums.

Also it is my personal goal to have writeups done by alot of our members here, instead of it just being one person doing it all. We can all show how much we know about our trucks by doing these writeups and create alot more interaction with the authors of the writeups and the person inquiring about them!

Im working on converting a power door into a manual door. I'll see how it goes.

It may sound a little backwards, but I dont have a motor for my beater, it's already manual, and I need a new door. I have a power everything door in my garage so Im just swapping everything into manual on it.

Wherever we want to go, we'll go. That's what a truck is, you know. It's not just a frame and a cab and a bed and engine, that's what a truck needs but what a truck is... what the Ranger really is... is freedom.

Lol I just changed my oil and did my cv axle yesterday!! But the cv axle they gave me was bunk.. looks like manu. error; the od of the shaft where my wheel bearing goes on is about .0023 of an inch too big making it so I can't put the damn thing back together.. so I'll redo it this coming weekend when I have time and hopefully the new part fits this time!
