Default 83 ranger diesel

Just got back from sunshine state where I found a rust free body. As I stated in first post, after 1-01-10 I would restore myself.

Thumbs down Ranger Diesel

Injector pump started leaking, Loaded truck and hauled to Local diesel shop in Muncie In.Wanted 550-600 to rebuild plus $75 per hour to R/R.

I decided to take the truck back home.

Got to looking and decided to take top of pump off and have a look-see.
After two hours and several dropped tools the top of injector pump was off.

Throttle shaft had a o-ring that was leaking. O-ring replaced .85 cents and about two hours later ---problem solved.

Being hard headed and cheap payed off this time More later

Cool ranger diesel

Thinking about selling ranger diesel.Any interest? I would like $3500 for the diesel but would consider all offers.Located in East Central Indiana near the town of Farmland. The motor is a 2.2 litre from a 1983 ford ranger. The body is 1991 and has no rust, the trany is a four speed.
