I have mine mounted where the passenger airbag switch is, and removed the little cubby hole thing.

all that holds the cubby in is 3 bolts, then the CB bracket bolts right up. no holes to drill, wireing is easy to run, it's out of the way, and it's at the perfect angle to see what channel your on while your driving. to install that Cb where i did, takes less than 5 minutes. the wireing might be another 10-15 minutes.
