Default Finally have proper heat and a/c....

So last year my blend door broke and i lost the ability contol my vent temps. So after being jerry rigged for a year I had enough. Florida in the winter time warrants a/c one week and heat the next. Being that the blend door can not be just taken out and replaced by itself I orded the whole HVAC case, actuator, and heater core( did the core so it would be worry free years from now). I dont know how many of you guys have had to dig apart one of our dashes but it was rather interesting. PICS!!!!!!!

FYI- I did this at my shop with my employee discount, the entire job flagged me 6.6 labor hours.

Lol thanks, they are very nice seat covers that wont get ruined from sweaty asses anymore I do believe i purchased those from JCWhitney???? I dont quite remember. Ive done so many things to make that truck different from the rest that I could write a 5 page list. I didnt even write half the stuff in my profile. BTW. Yes its a very fun job. I was rather reluctact at first being that Ive done almost everything under the sun BUT pulled a dash. Good learning experience. Great word of advice is to replace the whole unit as I did along with the heater core and actuators. Its a good piece of mind and also prevents you from ever having to do the nasty job again.
