Default Fog lights on a 2009 Ranger

I just replaced my 97 Ranger with a 2009 model. I purchased the vehicle from dealer stock and it had everything I wanted except fog lights. I bought the lights, a new headlight switch, and a relay and installed them. They did't work. Went to the dealer and he told me he needed the build code to reprogram the smart junction box. Ford will not give that info. He said I have 2 options. 1: Install another switch to turn on the lights. (showed me the wire I need to use) 2: Get the VIN of an identical truck with factory installed fog lights so he could look up the build codes and install them into my smart juntion box. I prefer the second option as the vehicle is brand new My truck is a 2009 XLT 4x2 supercab 2 door with a 4 cyl, 5 speed manual, cruise control, pwr mirrors, windows, locks. I have been searching but no luck so far. Any help would be appreciated! I just need a VIN number. By the way, I am very happy with my purchase. I drive 100 miles a day to and from work and the truck is averaging 30 to 33 mpg! Better than the 97 with 303,000 miles. It only got 27. The 97 didn't use or leak oil, was just getting tired. Gave it to a friend and he is soooo happy to have it.

Sounds exactly like my truck, right down to the no fog lights... Red here, what color is yours?

Vista Blue here. My truck did not have foglights but was wired for them. A bit of a trick to get them to work after you install them yourself. but it can be done. Dont go through the dealer though, that's the expensive way!

If you need help, let me know. I also made an additional mod that allows my fog lights to be on with my high beams. There is no need to add an additional swich to make the foglights work
