I like how you have Oklahoma plates and a Texas plate frame.
Oh yeah... I like that truck, too. What motor you got in it?

I hear/read that the 3.0 gets bad wrap for being a slug stock. How is it handling the lift and 35's?

It is a slug...and it does suck....UNLESS you re-gear.....you have to find your middle ground. If you don't re-gear you have no power, and you smoke your tranny (my current situation) if you re-gear you gain power but you lose mileage...and you have more torque so you have more of a chance of breaking something.

For a second there I did a double take and thought I was looking at my truck. Then I noticed all the chrome, brush bar, decals, light upgrades, 35's, chrome wheels, super cab, and license plate. Looks like the color and the 3.0 are about it for similarities once I had a cup of coffee and figured out what day it is. I have an automatic with factory 4.10 gears and a couple inches of lift with P245/75R 16 tires and the truck does what I need it to do. Enough power to pull my boat around and decent mileage. I am getting 18+ with warm ups for a few minutes every day as it still is getting below freezing every night. When it got realllly cold last winter, lots of below zero weather with long warm ups and lack of power from the gas which loses its punch the colder it gets, I still got 15-16. You have a great looking truck
