Default SVO/Yamaha V6

Has anyone done swap w/ SVO V6 from Taurus. With manual 5 spd.trans. These engines are purported to mate to Ranger manuals and are considered an uncomplicated swap.(?) Have done number of engine swaps over the yrs. & have yet to see one that was a drop in. The mercruiser 224 is a prime example. Thank you. Reheef
