Default vacum lime questiom

I have a 99 ford ranger 4.0 My questiom I was womdering what is suppose to go om top of the driver side valve cover and I'm also have a hose missing on the driver side of the platinum and was wondering if anybody know of any good sites were i could figure this stuff out

Sounds like the PCV valve/hose to me
