I have read info on several boards and elsewhere on the net.

Some say they used a heavy duty C-Clamp with the flat plate removed. Comments said it was scary and some had problems with it coming off.

Some say they used a bottle jack but it was scary and outright dangerous.

Some have used two jaw pullers and those comments were it was scary.

I have found two tools for doing this. I will post links to them below. What experiences have you had and what tools did you use? What were your experiences and was it scary the way you did it?

I would imagine that removing the torsion bars would be pretty scary... Keep in mind they're under all that stress from the front end too, even jacked up off the ground.

Yeah they were, they arent made anymore. The RCD was a couple hundred more than the Superlift when I was lift shopping but I wanted the extra 1.5" and the bilstein coil overs was a big selling point too. Plus not having the huge torsion bar drop brackets hanging down under the is a plus.
