Default 98 Ford Ranger Left Turn Signal

Help..we have a 98 Ranger and the left signal, flashers etc. decided to stop working. Light on dash not working either. Checked fuses and is good. Any ideas? We think it might be the flasher. If it is, does anybody know where the flasher is located.
Thanks for your help.

You check the bulb? I know that sounds like a given, but worth a shot.

In many of ford trucks multifunction switch or the connector in back of the turn signal causes this problems on Fords..Just keep hitting the emergency flasher button for few times and check if it returns.. If returns then the problem is with the switch...If i am not wrong flasher is under the instrument panel to the right of the steering column..
