It should look something like this...but number/character combination will be different. It's just a white sticker with the code on it, doesn't say anything about it being the PCM/ECU code.

Try this...

http://www.troyerperformance.com/cgi...&link=compcode

FoMoCo passenger cars like the Taurus, Sable, Escort, etc., also mid-90’s & up Ford Ranger & Ford Explorer:

Usually these vehicles will have their computer code on a sticker under the hood, either on the firewall near the PCM, or along the inner fender ledge, or on a shock tower, etc. It will be the standard 4 digit format, 3 letters followed by 1 number. Look for the standard PCM wiring harness connection with it’s single 10mm bolt head dead-center, usually running right into the firewall, doing what appears to be a dead-end. The PCM in these vehicles is usually tucked back into a “cubby hole” in the firewall, so that all you see is the PCM’s harness connection, while the PCM itself remains hidden inside it’s compartment in the firewall. Note: Do not use the information from the sticker on the back of the Driver’s door that says “Calibration” on it, that is NOT the code.

On any computer-controlled Ford Motor Company vehicle, you can always find the computer code on a sticker on the PCM (Powertrain Control Module, or “computer”) itself. Every Ford EEC-IV & EEC-V PCM will have a large sticker on top of it, with several lines of writing. The computer code is usually a few lines down and will always be printed in bold typeface, and in capitals (upper case), so it stands out and is easy to find. Many Ford PCM’s also have a smaller sticker on the back of the PCM with just the code on it.

ok did you find? If not I can tell you. It is three Letters and a number. Located on the firewall where the OBD plugs in.

For sure. Just make sure when you get your custom tune, keep a copy of it saved either on your computer or in your email as a backup. Usually it's a .cfl type file.
