Hello everyone. My name is Caleb and i'm 20 years old, just getting interested in modifying my truck. i want to learn the inside-outs of it. i am a member of several other forums so i know the lingo and acceptable behavior (although each forum has its own twist). I'm excited to learn from experienced owners and hope i can find the info i'm lookinf for. peace

Welcome. I see you like the Swedish metal as well huh? Read through the forum posts to see what type of behavior is tolerated. We like to keep it a family site and have fun as well without going overboard.

maybe time to break out the old albums? haha yeah they are pretty awesome fellas and make some punishing music. good stuff. but...
how much would i be looking to spend to raise my truck 4", with bigger wheels and tires to accommodate. just based on your experiences. i found a lift kit here http://www.roughcountry.com/suspensi...r_83-97_4.html but i would like a good opinion on this one.

I've never looked at lifts for a 2wd but a lift for my 4x4 is $1600 so that seems pretty cheap. As for tires your best bet would be 33s. Depending on what brand you get depends on the price. You can go with cheapo tires but they will wear much faster, or you can get good tires for a little more and have them longer. A set of pro comp m/ts will last for about 35000 miles where as BFGoodrich km2s will last for about 45000 miles.
