Default New (Old) Mazda b4000 owner

Hey everyone. I am moving from Los Angeles to Northern Idaho, so I ditched the camaro and bought a 99 mazda b4000, because I wanted something reliable that I could take offroading. I love the truck, but I haven't had it for very long, and some problems have come up. I was driving home in 2 WD and got an intense vibration in the cab. I got off the freeway and it stopped. I got back on the freeway and it came back. When I drive in 4WD High it makes weird noises but drives. I specifically hear banging under the front and sometimes rear of the truck. I am very concerned about this because I am moving to idaho in 3 weeks I need to drive 1400 miles up there. Any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Welcome. Try having your transfer case looked at for the banging problems

Welcome. The shaking might be an unbalanced tire or you need an alignment

Thanks for all the help. The place I bought it from said I can take it to their mechanic, but I don't trust them at all, so I am also going to take it to a guy in town. I updated my sig, although I don't have any cool mods to put on their, yet. Anyone on this forum from Idaho, when I get the thing running right I want to go offroading

Look at your front wheels to see if they have weights on the rims. Its not very uncommon to lose a weight while your driving. I rotated my tires recently and one wheel didn't have a weight and when I hit like 40mph my front end started shaking like crazy.

I looked the my front passenger side tire and it is missing a hub cap. To be honest I don't even know what a wheel weight looks like. I tried to google it but all I found are pictures of wheels. I am taking it to the mechanic of the place where I bought it on wed, hopefully they can diagnose the problem. I really appreciate all your help, and will let you guys know what is up when I found out more.
