Winter is coming and hunting season is here. I need my 4x4 working. Was told that gear in front hub is stripped. Had a look and seems visually ok. Anyone else had similar problem?

Had another look and found that small metal tabs at back of both hubs were stopping center drive gear from sliding out all the way. Moved tabs to correct side of the small spring loaded cam mechanism next to these tabs allowing the cam mechanism spring to push drive gear all the way out. Hard to explain clearly but I'm back 4x4ing again. Hope this will help someone with same problem.

One of the most common problems is the 4wd actuator switch, which you can easily replace yourself and is fairly inexspensive
