I have a 2000 3.0 flex fuel ranger with 336K. #4 cylinder lost compression (valve) So I decided to replace the engine with a 2003 flex fuel with 53k on it. I was told it came out of a Ranger and the 8th digit is a V so we are all good as far as that goes. I have the new engine sitting there ready for the swap but have noticed that the Intakes are different. So before I start turning a wrench I want to make sure this is going to be a simple swap and I don't have to replace the pcm and other stuff. So if any one out there a has some input it would be a great time saver to hear from you....Thanks and have a great thanksgiving.
