I believe you have an OHV, and not a SOHC right?

Why do you want it to go faster? It's a truck, NOT a mustang. Put a set of headers on it w/ a custom exhaust. I EASILY gained 25 hp when I finished that on my truck. If you have the cash, get a bigger throttle body.

Wherever we want to go, we'll go. That's what a truck is, you know. It's not just a frame and a cab and a bed and engine, that's what a truck needs but what a truck is... what the Ranger really is... is freedom.

A bigger throttle body may allow more air to be drawn in ...but your motor will only take so much air so the air will move slower so it really does nothing for you, I believe its worse than a stock throttle body

Exhaust and an air intake. That'll gain you the most amount of power. I'd recommend headers to high flow Magnaflow cats and a Magnaflow catback exhaust system.

put a 5.0 in it. Everything cost money and all this stuff isnt cheap but its worth it.

So generic.

WHAT! do you want faster!

Top end speed?

Acceleration?

Braking?

Picking up women?

Picking up guys?

BTW, FWIW, its a truck, not a sports car.
