I am over the 60000 mark and was thinking to change the trans fluid to be safe. In the manual it says to use Motorcraft ATF. I have seen in other place on the internet to use mercon. I went to an auto parts store and they said they do not have anything in the computer for trans fluid on this truck. He suggested to go to the dealer. I didn't think it would have been a big deal. Does have a recommendation? Thanks in adavance

If the fluid doesnt look at all burnt and looks good shade of red with no blackish color than dont change it, your fine. If it is burnt looking than just drop the pan and put dex III in.
