Wherever we want to go, we'll go. That's what a truck is, you know. It's not just a frame and a cab and a bed and engine, that's what a truck needs but what a truck is... what the Ranger really is... is freedom.

the 3.0L v6 has been known to go 500k.
our fleet uses a combo of 2.3 and 3.0 rangers, and avg miles on these is 270k with poor maintenance.
I wouldn't worry about longetivity, it'll hold up just fine.

My last Ranger had 304K miles on it when I totaled it. It still had the factory brakes on it. I never did anything to that truck but change the oil/filter, change fuel filter and air filter, and rotate the tires.

I have a 95 v6 4.0 and have over 380k miles on it. It's still running pretty well overall. I think you'll be okay for a good while. Providing you take care of it that is.

My 2011 has 7000 miles lol.

How long do the 4.0 SOHC last? It says not to change the oil for 7500 miles so when I do, its either gonna be Mobil 1 full synthetic or Royal Purple

My 2.3L has 205,000+ on it right now, and runs great.
