Default 97 ranger o2 sensor problem

Hi i just hollowed out one of my 2 cats on my 97 v6 stx ranger because even with exhaust it wasnt loud enough for me. I was hoping only hollowing out one wouldnt trip my sensor, but alas the next day my service engine light was on. so i was wondering if there is a way, or an aftermarket o2 sensor that will allow me to pollute a little more. Thanks

If you stick to the OEM 02 sensors you're better off, if you replace the 02 sensor and the light still comes back on you may have to replace the cats. If you wanted a louder sounding truck, You could have added an aftermarket muffler like flowmaster or magnaflow
