Im getting ready to do a sas on my 93 ranger. i was wondering if the (hp Dana 30) will fit or do i have to just use the (dana 30). thanks

I know you can do a 35 from a Cherokee, but not sure about the HP 30.

D 35 is a rear axle bro lol.
D30 HP will work but why go with a lighter duty axle than what;s in it now? Just go with a D44 and be done with it. You'll have a LOT less problems down the road. No hub assemblys to deal with, etc.

Uh...no? Go with a Dana 44 wagoneer axle (make sure they do NOT have vacuum hubs) or a D44 from an Early bronco. Either way dude, search around, I have covered this topic before.
Oh and FYI, Dana 30 HP first appeared in the Jeep Wrangler TJ models. They're the same width as a ranger axle ( to a certain extent ) You will need to cut all the mounting hardware off and weld new on ( coil mounts OR leaf spring perches )
