The D30 is an "ok" axle if you put truss it, I know a guy running 37's on it with locker and 4.88's and does great (don't get vacuum disco axle if you go that route) and the D30 is almost bolt in (good thread on trs). But if you can go D44 go that route for sure, they can be found in the early bronco which is pretty much our width, the wagoneer as said, and the wranger rubicon. If you SAS your truck would be cool of you to make a build thread so we can start having build threads here good luck.

Yeah ill do a build thread on it. Im still doing some research on what axle i dont plan on running anything bigger than 36's. Iv also been thinking about full size in the front and rear i like that look as well.

If you can, find a Dana 60-2 from a J20 Jeep. Its a 5 lug D60. For the rear, just do a Narrowed 9"

Wherever we want to go, we'll go. That's what a truck is, you know. It's not just a frame and a cab and a bed and engine, that's what a truck needs but what a truck is... what the Ranger really is... is freedom.

as far as the width, you could run the wider axle then run a high positive offset rim....?

Yea, you COULD but you'd still be at least 3 inches wider on either side.
