Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and have been a FMC enthusiast & technician for many years but I do a question which I hope someone has been there already and knows.
Are the Catalytic Converter studs that connect to the crossover pipe flange on a dual cat in series Ranger 3.0 splined & pressed in or are they threaded? Thanks for any help in advance. |

How did you get the frozen threaded studs backed out of the flange?

Update: The '93 Ranger 3.0 Cat studs are splined & pressed in. I heated the flange with a acetylene torch to red hot and they popped right out with a automotive hammer.
I appreciate your help "Captured Time".
