I want to know what mufflers, pipe size(2.5 or 3 inch)and tip size I should go with on my 96 4.0 2wd XLT Supercab Ranger?I'm also thinking of going "true dual" instead of the Y pipe.I'm guessing Borla and 3 inch pipes?

I'd say keep the "y" and go 2.5 with a Borla. That's what is on my dad's s-cab and it sounds pretty awesome. The only problem is that he has lost some power due to the lower backpressure. If you want to keep the grunt you may want to consider a Dynomax super turbo. It's not as loud but it will sound more mellow than stock and you shouldn't lose too much power.
