Default Something I've wondered for a while now... airbags?

I've seen plenty of lowered guys using airbag suspensions to control ride height & stuff, but has anyone with a 4x4 ever converted to air bags to go from a normal height to raising up several inches above stock?

Seems like it would be something that could be done, but I have no idea about that kinda stuff.

Would the ride be smoother?

Just wondering

it's possible if you know how to fabricate and get the right bags. i know land rovers do it so they can lower the ride height on the street/raise it off road.

I see lifted bagged setups all the time. Never road in them. But from what I hear they ride pretty smooth.

I might be getting some a friend offered to buy me a setup last night. but he was a little drunk so we will see hahaha...

Infact here is an example of some bagged trucks

I've seen a lot of guys do the air bags. Works well if you're linked.

Wherever we want to go, we'll go. That's what a truck is, you know. It's not just a frame and a cab and a bed and engine, that's what a truck needs but what a truck is... what the Ranger really is... is freedom.

Iv seen that truck in Kentucky at the machien gun shoot. I am 6' 2" and it makes me look tiny!

Anyways as for the subject: Iv seen tons of 4x4s use air bags. Theyre fairly expensive tho.
