The Battery will drain in 3 days . The fuse box under the hood behind the battery (the 30 amp fuse marked EEC is staying hot after the engine is off and key removed. I can hear clicking when I removed that fuse and just hold it against the terminals indicating something is still drawing power.I bought this truck knowing that it had a battery drain problem from the original owner. He took it to the Ford garage and Les Schwab and they never could find the issue Help the old man thanks in advance I,m new to the forum

If you are still having issues with the battery drain, here is a test that can be used to isolate the cause. A milliampere meter is best, but a common 12 volt test light can be substituted. Disconnect negative battery cable and connect the meter or test light between cable and battery terminal. If there is a current draw the light will be on. Make sure, hood light bulb is removed and all doors are closed. There should be no, or a very faint illumination of the the test light. Most keep alive circuits draw about 600 milliampers. (less than 1 ampere). Start pulling fuses to isolate the circuit and procede from there. If removing fuses fails to isolate the circuit, then start removing all module connectors. Member from another forum found his problem in a module located under the drivers seat. Cleaned connections and all was fixed, corrosion of terminals increased resistance thus increasing current flow to above acceptable limits.
