Need a little help...
Before replacing the valve cover gaskets on my 2.9, I had to pull the brake booster vacuum hose to gain access to drivers side cover. When I went to drive my truck after the job was done, the transmission wouldn't shift. Huh...So I crawled underneath and found two vacuum lines alongside the transmssion: one going into the side of the tranny, the other dead-ending just above the skid plate not too far from the transfer case. After I capped it the tranny shifts just fine. Is this line suppose to acutally go somewhere, because my 4WD went out last winter and hasn't worked since. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!! |
